My Life as a Seller so Far...

It has been as year since i started working in real estate in favor of a long time job in the BPO industry. I dont have any regrets at all because my earnings not only have been doubled, more than that. :) I have a lot to look forward too financially, in the next year or so. The only downside i guess is, the length of tenure. But then again, i am not after the tenure. I entered the industry with  nothing in mind but to sell. I was not really looking after a career in selling. Maybe a career as a good seller, but that is just about it. I realized I sell because of relationship. I sell to whoever in my network. And i make sure to provide the best customer service and i make sure that i can be trusted, and most importantly, i dont just treat them as customers. I treat them accordingly with utmost respect and dignity. I want to feel them that i am sincere with whatever i offer. I dont just give them pros but also the cons. And  this is important; i give them options. You see , when a customer feels that he/she has a free rein of the buying process after educating them about the product, you actually give then a sense of power. And that power to decide on where to put their hard-earned money basically is important. You dont want to make him/her feel like you are out there to rob him/her of their hard earned cash. When i entered the industry, i am proud to say that i am already equipped with these necessary skills, you see, even common sense nowadays, is or atleast should be a  skill. I sell not because of the product. The product has been secondary. I closed deals because prior to the product, i have already sold myself to my customers. If the customer thinks that your  role as  a seller transcends that of the product you're selling, he/she will know that. Your character ultimately will be unraveled throughout the selling process. Sometimes, a customer is not just discriminating of the product. He/She too is discerning of who is the frontliner of the product. So once you catch his/her attention, it could only mean positive or negative. What do you think is the percentage that he/she would still be interested with your product? With my experience so far, i am proud to say that i have done a relatively good job and i will continue to do so.
